Wellbeing
Through Acoustic Design

Specified by architects and acoustical consultants across a broad range of commercial, institutional, and residential project types, BASWA systems deliver independently verified NRC ratings up to 1.00 while maintaining monolithic surfaces that disappear into the architecture of a space.

By reducing reverberation, these acoustical finish systems improve speech intelligibility, safety, health, learning, and overall quality of life.

With an ecosystem of supporting panel options and versatile finishes, ideal solutions can be customized that follow flat ceilings, curved vaults, domes, or complex geometries in smooth or textured finishes.

Consistent, High-Performance Acoustic Systems

Technical performance supported by certified, third-party testing.

BASWA acoustical plaster absorbs airborne sound energy as it travels through the microporous, recycled marble aggregate finish and is trapped within the supporting panel layer. Sound energy that would otherwise reflect and reverberate off the room's hard surfaces gets converted invisibly into heat energy. The result is a reduction in reverberation time across a broad frequency range, which improves speech intelligibility and reduces acoustic fatigue.

BASWA system performance is deeper than high NRC and CAC Ratings, with high recycled material content, Class A fire ratings, VOC-free materials, high L-value light reflectance, and excellent performance in high humidity environments.

Architecture Without Compromise

Materials Matter

Acoustical plaster finishes allow the necessary acoustic performance to be built into the architecture of a space rather than layered onto the ceiling or walls. With system options that adhere to stable substrates without mechanical fasteners, like drywall or plaster, or that mount directly to grid, each system delivers the seamless, gridless design BASWA is known for.

Design natural white stone finishes or stunning custom textures that replicate other materials. BASWA systems are made to last.
