BASWA Core
BASWA Thermic Line
The BASWA Phon Core System is used with TABS ceilings (thermo-active component systems). With new building projects that use TAB systems, piping (mainly plastic pipes) are used above the lowest reinforced steel position in solid ceilings. Water is used as the heating and/or cooling medium. The solid ceiling is thermally activated in the area of the piping as a transfer and storage mass.
In order to ensure the transfer of the thermal energy from the activated concrete ceiling through our sound-absorbing system, a specially shaped and slotted aluminum profile is used, which is a main component of the BASWA Phon Core panels.
With this thermally conductive acoustic system, you use the storage capacity of the TABS ceiling in an effective way to heat up or cool the area while still having seamless and smooth modern
architecture.
